Understanding the Four Account Types on Properti

Your experience on Properti Nigeria is shaped by your account type. We have four distinct profiles, each with specific privileges and tools designed for different real estate needs.
Different Account Types
-
Seeker/Individual: This is for anyone looking to rent, lease, or buy a property. Seekers can use the full Search functionality, Post Requests, save properties and searches, and book inspections. They are the demand side of the platform and cannot list properties for sale or rent.
-
Agent: This is for licensed real estate agents or brokers. Agents are Vendors. They can list properties, respond to Seeker requests by sending offers, and manage inspections. A key feature for paid agent accounts is “Area of Coverage,” allowing them to specify up to 10 locations they operate in, ensuring they get relevant requests.
-
Owner: This is for individual property owners who wish to list and manage their own properties without an agent. Owners are also Vendors. They can list their properties and respond to requests with offers. However, they do not have the “Area of Coverage” feature, as their listings are tied to their owned assets’ specific locations.
-
Company: This is for registered real estate firms, developers, and property management companies. Company accounts are Vendors with capabilities for scale. They can list multiple properties, respond to requests, and have an expanded “Area of Coverage” (up to 20 locations). They also have access to team-oriented analytics and represent a branded entity on the platform.
Privileges
Crucially, only Vendor accounts (Agent, Owner, Company) can list properties and send offers in response to requests. All account types, including Seekers, can post requests. Understanding your account type helps you utilize the platform’s full potential.
