Managing Inspections and Seeker Bookings

Once a seeker accepts your offer, the inspection management phase begins. Professional handling here builds trust and moves the deal forward.
The Notification & Acceptance Flow
-
Alert: You will receive a notification and see a new card in your “Inspections” tab under “New Requests.”
-
Review & Act Quickly: Open the card. It shows the property address, seeker’s name, and proposed inspection date/time. You must Accept or Decline promptly. A fast “Accept” signals professionalism.
-
If You Accept: The inspection moves to the “Pending” tab. The date/time is now confirmed for both parties. Use the contact details provided to send a quick confirmation message (e.g., “Looking forward to showing you the property on [Date]. The address is…”). This small step is highly appreciated.
-
If You Must Decline: Only decline if absolutely necessary (e.g., property just became unavailable). Decline courteously and promptly to free the seeker to book another inspection.
Coordinating the Inspection
In the “Pending” tab, you have tools to manage the appointment.
-
Reschedule: If you need to change the time, use the “Reschedule” button to propose new slots directly through the platform.
-
Cancel: If the inspection cannot proceed, cancel here. Excessive cancellations can affect your account standing.
-
Contact Seeker: Use the provided button to call or message the seeker directly for logistical details.
Post-Inspection Completion
-
After the viewing, either you or the seeker can mark the inspection as “Completed.”
-
This moves the card to the “Completed Inspections” history.
-
Once here, the system will prompt you to Rate Your Experience with the seeker. Provide honest feedback on their punctuality and seriousness. This community feedback system helps maintain quality for all users.
Professionalism is Key
Treat every booked inspection as a serious business appointment. Be punctual, prepared, and respectful. A positive inspection experience, even if the property isn’t a perfect fit, leads to good ratings, repeat business, and referrals. Your inspection management is a direct reflection of your brand.
