Vendor Rules, Responsibilities, and Account Enforcement

As a vendor on Properti Nigeria, you are part of a trusted community. Maintaining high standards is essential. Violating our rules can lead to enforcement actions, from warnings to permanent removal.
Core Vendor Responsibilities
-
Accurate Listings: You must list properties truthfully. Details (location, size, price, features, availability, images) must be accurate and current. Listing a sold property as “Available” or using misleading images is strictly prohibited.
-
Genuine Offers: Only send offers for properties that genuinely match the seeker’s request. Spamming requests with irrelevant offers wastes seekers’ time and depletes your monthly quota.
-
Professional Conduct: Communicate professionally and respectfully with all users, especially during inspection coordination. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language is not tolerated.
-
Transaction Integrity: While Properti facilitates connections, you are responsible for conducting lawful and ethical transactions offline. The platform prohibits any fraudulent activity.
The Reporting System
Seekers can Report a Property (for fake info, inaccuracy, unavailability) or Report a Vendor (for unprofessional conduct, spam, harassment). All reports are taken seriously and investigated by our Trust & Safety team.
Enforcement Actions
Based on investigation findings, we may take the following escalating actions:
-
Warning: For first-time, minor violations (e.g., outdated listing details). You will be notified to correct the issue.
-
Temporary Suspension: For repeated violations or more serious issues (e.g., sending multiple irrelevant offers, failing to show up for inspections). Your account will be temporarily deactivated, and you will lose access to platform features.
-
Permanent Removal: For severe violations, including fraud, persistent misrepresentation, harassment, or illegal activity. Your account, all listings, and data will be permanently deleted from the platform.
Your Due Process
If your account is sanctioned, you will receive a clear explanation of the violation. You have the right to appeal the decision by contacting our support team with your case details.
Adhering to these rules isn’t just about avoiding penalties—it’s about building a reputable, sustainable business on Properti Nigeria. Trust is your most valuable asset, and the enforcement system exists to protect that trust for all users.
